# Multi-age K–2, mathematics, Year A – Unit 20

Develop students' knowledge, understanding and skills in this two-week, multi-age sample unit – Problems can be solved and represented in different ways.

## Syllabus

Syllabus outcomes and content descriptors from the Mathematics K–10 Syllabus (2022) © NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) for and on behalf of the Crown in right of the State of New South Wales, 2024.

Students are provided opportunities to:

• solve modelled problems concretely, pictorially, and symbolically to help develop fluency
• count and order a collection of items
• place numbers accurately on a number line
• use symbols to represent a story.

## Syllabus focus and content groups
