In this 2-week unit students are provided opportunities to:
- recognise and describe angles as less than, equal to, about the same as or greater than a right angle
- interpret digital time displays and determine the time remaining until the next hour
- combine and split common shapes to create other common two-dimensional shapes.
Geometric measure B – MAO-WM-01, MA2-GM-03
Angles: Compare angles to a right angle
Two-dimensional spatial structure B – MAO-WM-01, MA2-2DS-01
- 2D shapes: Create two-dimensional shapes that result from combining and splitting common shapes
- 2D shapes: Create symmetrical patterns and shapes
Non-spatial measure B – MAO-WM-01, MA2-NSM-02
- Time: Represent and interpret digital time displays
- Time: Use am and pm notation
