Students are provided opportunities to:
- explore equivalence and multiplicative relationships of fractions
- represent fractional quantities equal to and greater than one on a number line
- make connections between fractions and decimal notation.

- Decimals: Extend the application of the place value system from whole numbers to tenths and hundredths
- Decimals: Make connections between fractions and decimal notation
