Revised resources

The NSW Department of Education is revising and updating curriculum resources for NSW syllabuses to align with system-wide priorities such as the Explicit teaching in NSW Public Schools statement and Our Plan for NSW Public Education.

Revised and updated Mathematics K–12 resources will be made available in the Lesson Library.

NSW public school staff may continue to adapt and use existing Mathematics sample units as part of their programs, applying professional judgement and local school decisions in line with syllabus requirements and student needs.

For existing Mathematics K–12 resources, staff are encouraged to explore:

• Mathematics K–6 resources catalogue (staff only)
• Thinking Mathematically K–6 resources catalogue
• Mathematics 7–10 resources catalogue
• Mathematics 11–12 resources catalogue
• Universal Resources Hub (staff only).

Key updates

• Term 2, Week 1 – Stage 2 and Stage 3 Term 2 units will be released in the Lesson Library and will no longer be available on this website.
• The following revised resources have been released in the Lesson Library and are no longer available on this website:
  • Stage 2 – Term 1 and Term 4 units (staff only)
  • Stage 3 – Term 1 and Term 4 units (staff only).
