A 9-lesson unit for Year 11 with supporting resources.

This sample program of learning addresses content from the focus areas of Formulas and equations and Data analysis. The lessons and sequences in this sample program of learning are designed to allow students to explore the connection between mathematics and health through statistical analysis. Students will learn about sampling methods, survey question desgin and analysis using histograms, polygons and boxplots. Students will apply algebraic concepts to various formulas related to health fields.

A 19-lesson unit for Year 11 with supporting resources.

This sample program of learning addresses content from the focus areas of Formulas and equations, Linear relationships, Earning money and Managing money.

The lessons and sequences in this sample program of learning are designed to allow students to learn about financial mathematics, including ways of earning, taxation, purchasing goods and budgeting, as well as direct variation, creating equations from worded problems and using a spreadsheet to model linear relationships.
