Scope and sequences
The Mathematics K–10 Syllabus (2022) provides a unique opportunity for a new approach to designing scope and sequences. It encourages a more flexible approach to planning for teaching and learning.
Mathematics K–6 scope and sequences are optional resources that schools may adopt or adapt. They are compliant with NESA registration requirements and include additional, value-added elements.
Syllabus mapping tools
Mathematics K–6 syllabus mapping tools are optional resources for schools to customise or edit for flexible use in different school contexts.
They offer weekly and term-by-term mapping and tracking of syllabus elements including focus areas, outcomes, content groups and content points.
K–6 support package
Our K–6 support package for the latest NESA Mathematics syllabus includes sample scope and sequences, sample units and other resources.
Microlearning
The Mathematics K–10 Syllabus is required to be taught in NSW primary schools from 2024. Engaging with the Mathematics microlearning courses will help you develop the required knowledge, understanding and skills for effective syllabus implementation.
