Available 2024 placements are listed below, the Guide to Applying and the Rural Experience Guidelines will assist in preparing an application.

Classroom Teacher placements
Placements are available across Central, Primary and Secondary schools. Click on the tabs below to view details of available placements.
Permanent employees who hold a substantive position as a teacher and meet the eligibility requirements in the Rural Experience Guidelines may apply for up to 3 placements at their substantive level.
Non-permanent employees (those on a temporary engagement / contract and casual employees) who meet the eligibility requirements in the Rural Experience Guidelines may apply for up to 3 placements at teacher level.
All placements are for Terms 1 – 4, 2024. Applicants can request a shorter duration in their application.
