By 2023, we will have a community kitchen garden and a bush tucker garden track.
We have a small team of staff who work together to ensure our students are afforded every possibility and the best education. We operate under the growth mindset model and new pedagogy is discussed and embraced. Our teachers freely experiment and share their journeys and support each other as we aim to continually improve. We have Quality Teaching Rounds and Teaching Sprints, which teachers have extra release to discuss, reflect and drive new pedagogy.
Our students are fully engaged in learning and work and play together from K-6, encouraging and supporting each other in every endeavour. Our students are well respected by all who have the privilege to teach and visit our school. We participate in many extra curricula activities, including sports, dancing, environmental projects working with Land Care and our council, singing Christmas carols for the aged care and hospital residents and running the local ANZAC day ceremony.
Our community is incredibly supportive and undertake many activities throughout the year to support our school. We are establishing a community hub, which includes on-site dental, and a community vegetable garden to supply our community cooking program.
