Purpose

This professional learning develops teachers’ understanding of how to implement the Year 1 Number Screening Check and interpret the information it provides for planning for learning.

Course overview

Module 1 Administer (60 minutes)

• Focuses on foundational learning, supporting teachers to effectively implement and administer the screener (available now).

Module 2 Analyse (60 minutes)

• Supports teachers to analyse data from the screener to identify student learning needs and inform targeted teaching.
• Available mid Term 2, 2026.

Module 3 Action (60 minutes)

• Builds teachers' capacity to plan for targeted teaching using data from the Year 1 Number Screening Check.
• Available mid Term 2, 2026.
