Support for Modern Greek Stage 4

This Stage 4 scope and sequence and 10-week unit of work have been designed to support the Modern Languages K–10 Syllabus (2022).

Syllabus

The scope and sequence is for the 100-hour mandatory course, and includes suggested summative assessment tasks.

This 10-week (25-hour) unit introduces students to sharing information about their school day, and allows opportunities to compare school routines in Australia and Greece. Students develop the language skills and intercultural capability to describe their subjects, and to express preferences with reasons. Students also discuss how they get to school, times and days of the week.

It includes related resources, mini tasks (progress checkpoints) and the summative assessment task.

Timeframes, formative and summative assessment tasks, teaching and learning activities and reflection and feedback opportunities should be adjusted to suit your context, including the specific strengths and needs of students.

Related resources

As indicated, resources can be for teachers or students. Remember to remove the answer section from student-facing resources, before sharing with students.
