Connecting to Country

Connecting to Country is a professional development program for principals, teachers and all department staff to establish respectful relationships with Aboriginal students, families and communities at a local level.

The program supports participants to plan, develop and implement culturally inclusive programs, underpinned by productive pedagogy and practices whilst increasing student expectations and performance in literacy, numeracy and general academic outcomes.

Healthy Culture Healthy Country

The Healthy Culture Healthy Country program highlights the importance of maintaining local Aboriginal languages and cultures through education. The program emphasises the synthesis between the health of culture, the health of Country, and the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal Australians.
