Curriculum support for career learning

The curriculum support pages provide valuable resources and guidance for school staff from Kindergarten to Year 12 to effectively integrate career learning into their teaching. These pages offer access to career-related programs and tools to help educators develop engaging lessons and resources that prepare students for future workplace opportunities.

The NSW Department of Education is committed to supporting young people to lead fulfiling lives and become active, contributing members of their communities in an ever-changing world. To support this, the curriculum support materials align with the NSW K-12 Career Learning Framework, which offers a structured approach to embedding career education across all learning stages. This framework helps schools provide consistent and meaningful career learning experiences that build students’ skills and knowledge to navigate their future work and learning opportunities.

By utilising these resources and frameworks, educators can ensure students are equipped with the capabilities needed to make informed decisions and confidently plan for their careers and life beyond school.
