AEDC community grants program

New South Wales is offering Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) community grants.

AEDC 2021 national, state and community level reports were published in April 2022. Schools also received their full profile in April 2022.

New South Wales has offered Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) community grants.

Seeding grants of up to $15,000 were awarded to schools and services to support partnerships in local communities to respond to the needs identified in their school or community profile.

Successful applicants will explore their AEDC data and consider how they might address the early development needs of children in their community.

  • Encourage communities to engage with and respond to their AEDC data outcomes from the 2021 data collection.
  • Support early intervention in communities with high vulnerabilities or limited services.

Successful applicants

Funding has been distributed to the following successful applicants to implement their proposed project.

Recipients of round 1 of the community grants initiative have completed their implementation. Case studies have been developed to showcase the initiatives implemented and outcomes achieved in response to their AEDC school and/or community data.

Access round one recipient’s case studies by clicking on the name of the school or service in the table below. The document will be downloaded as a word document. Case studies from round two will be available in 2024 once the recipients have completed their implementation.
