Every new preschool receives a collection of resources, including:

• music and movement resources
• practical tools such as the Hold My Hand gate sign and stamp.

Professional learning

Kids and Traffic offers free professional learning workshops for early childhood educators.

Professional learning can help educators:

• build their knowledge and confidence in early childhood road safety education
• explore practical ways to engage children in road safety education
• connect road safety education with areas such as literacy, numeracy, music, technology and the arts
• engage and support families to keep children safe when in and around vehicles
• develop strategies for including road safety education in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.

All workshops align with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
