Road safety discussion points for high school students
These discussion points support the delivery of road safety education within the PDHPE K–10 syllabus, particularly in Years 9–10.
They are designed to:
- prompt critical and creative thinking about road use
- encourage students to reflect on their responsibilities as road users
- support classroom discussion and inquiry-based learning.
The points are not exhaustive. They provide a practical starting point to guide teaching and can be adapted to meet the needs of your students.
Extended points offer additional context and help identify key messages to reinforce during learning.
