The Stage 3 unit of work - Travelling safely by bus is designed to help students recognise safe behaviours and learn how to keep themselves safe while travelling to and from school by bus.

This unit is especially valuable for:

• Year 5 Opportunity Class students during their first weeks at a new school
• Year 6 students preparing to travel independently to high school

It’s also a key opportunity to engage parents and carers in discussions about safe travel habits as students transition to high school or Opportunity Classes.
