Building quality in public preschools

Learn to engage in meaningful continuous improvement against the NQS.

This course has been developed and is maintained by the department's Early Learning team, in its role as the approved provider of public preschools.  The course supports all stakeholders to know, understand and apply the requirements of the National Quality Framework (NQF) in public preschools.   

It is comprised of 8 self-paced blended online professional learning modules, each focused on one of the quality areas of the National Quality Standard (NQS). After completing the introductory module, participants can complete the modules in any order, at their own pace. Participants are encouraged to select modules that cover content specific to their identified learning needs. 

Target audience

Preschool and early years’ educators, supervisors and leaders.

Note – If you are not a department staff member and do not have a MyPL account, you can obtain a MyPL username and password to access registered professional learning via the community members page.
