High-quality professional learning builds teacher expertise, inspires collaboration, and strengthens classroom practice. But finding the right support shouldn’t add to your workload.
The Professional Learning Catalogue brings together the professional learning opportunities that support curriculum, teaching and learning into one place.
[Graphic on screen shows labels from different sections of the website: K–6 Curriculum, 7–12 Curriculum, K–12 Programs and initiatives, Literacy and numeracy, Technology and innovation, Leadership and development, Data, evidence and evaluation, Explicit teaching, High-Potential and Gifted Education, Aboriginal Education, Multicultural Education and Respectful Relationships Education]
This reflects our commitment to simplifying processes, so you can focus on what matters most: teaching, leading and supporting students in NSW public schools.
The professional learning catalogue is an interactive PDF which makes it easy to discover and register for a diverse range of facilitated professional learning, delivered online or in person, across the state, each term. This helps teachers and leaders find high-quality professional learning, designed and delivered by the NSW Department of Education.
The Professional Larning Catalogue is available on the Professional Learning for Schools webpage.

Plan ahead with our full-term catalogue, released the term before, plus a mid-term update for what’s coming next. New editions will also be shared on Staff Noticeboard and in Statewide Staffrooms.
Navigating the catalogue is simple. Start by browsing the contents page to find professional learning that is available and relevant to your needs. From here, you will be directed to additional information, including session details, dates, online or in-person location, audience and live registration links.
We’re just getting started. The PL Catalogue continues to evolve and contains many professional learning opportunities offered by the department, but not all…yet. Stay tuned for future updates and new initiatives to support your professional learning journey.
