My dream home

A 2 week, Stage 1, learning sequence which includes an accompanying student workbook.

Students engage with the letters of the alphabet that make the word ‘house’ in a language. They learn to write the word ‘house’ and recognise it in text. Finally, they write a short text about their house in language using a drawing and rehearsed language.

Chatterbox unit starter

Stage 1 – Generic – A unit on how to make a chatterbox, this unit can be adapted to any language and includes a video and K to 6 learning-from-home task cards.

Advice on interacting

K-6 – Practical advice for language teachers that include a range of student-focused activities that encourage interacting in the language.
