AsP Enrolment Share
The AsP Enrolment Share report provides information on the percentage of enrolments for each individual school in a schools community group.
This report is available only to Asset Planners in the Planning and Demography unit.
How will this report benefit me?
Users can view enrolment percentages for each school in a schools community group, including non-government schools within the schools community group boundary. This can inform which schools are gaining or losing share within the schools community group, which may inform decisions about where to open new schools.
Enrolments in non-government schools are included in the total enrolment count. This gives asset planners are more meaningful understanding of how many children in their schools community group are attending government schools.
What does the AsP Enrolment Share report provide?
The following visualisations are available in this report:
School Enrolment Share
- This line chart displays enrolment percentages by year for each school in the schools community group, including non-government schools based within the schools community group boundary.
- The percentage of enrolments shows which schools are gaining or losing market share, regardless of population growth within the schools community group; all schools may be increasing their enrolments due to population growth, but some schools may be in fact losing market share as other schools grow faster.
- 10 years of historical enrolment share data will eventually be included, however the earliest year displayed is 2011. This is due to unavailability of high-quality data prior to this year.
School Enrolment Percentages
- This table displays the same data as the chart, but in tabular format.
- The total percentages at the bottom of the table will add up to 100% if all sectors are selected.
- If only one sector is selected, the total shown is the total enrolment share for that sector only. This provides a quick way to compare enrolment share between sectors.
Use the following slicers to select a schools community group and analyse the data:

Once a schools community group is selected, all schools in the schools community group and sector will appear in this slicer. Use this slicer to select or deselect schools to appear in the chart.
