Student Item Analysis - Writing

The Student Item Analysis (Writing) shows how a student has performed by NAPLAN writing criterion (i.e. rubric).

This report includes the Writing domain only. Other domains are on a separate report.

This report is available to school-based staff only – currently, this includes principals and school executives. From mid-2018, it will also include teachers.

How will these reports benefit me?

The Student Item Analysis (Writing) report allows schools to analyse the NAPLAN performance of individual students for each criterion (also known as a rubric). Used in conjunction with the school-level report, it can indicate which students may need additional help with specific rubrics.
