In the sample unit ‘Australiana – remixed’, students explore how art can challenge and reimagine ideas about contemporary Australia. They experiment with material and conceptual choices to develop symbols that represent culture and community, applying curatorial practice to represent meaning to audiences.
This unit is accompanied by a sample assessment task, student-facing slide presentation resource, artist information pack, and student sample artworks.
