About the committee

This is a combined committee representing the Upper Hunter, Hunter, Great Lakes and Central Coast regions.

The committee is made up of key stakeholders from within the vocational education and training arena, including but not limited to; Group Training Companies, Registered Training Organisations, Employers, Employer Associations, School to Work transition providers, Schools, Training Services NSW and the NSW Department of Education.

The committee aims to;

Promote the NSW Training Awards through a Hunter Central Coast regional training awards event including:

  • An event launch
  • Processing and culling nominations, interviews, feedback
  • Personal development (preparation for State Awards)
  • The awards event
  • Awards event review and implementation of continuous improvement
