Unit 1 – getting healthy
A 9-lesson unit for Year 11 with resources.
The lessons and sequences in this program of learning are designed to allow students to explore the connection between mathematics and health through statistical analysis. Students will learn about sampling methods, survey question desgin and analysis using histograms, polygons and boxplots. Students will apply algebraic concepts to various formulas related to health fields.
