Syllabus
The new History Extension 11–12 Syllabus (2024) is to be implemented from 2026.
- 2025 – Plan and prepare to teach the new syllabus
- 2026, Term 4
- Start teaching new syllabuses for Year 12 cohort 2027
- Start implementing new Year 12 school-based assessment requirements
- 2027 – First HSC examination for new syllabus.
Year 12
These resources have been developed to assist teachers to create learning that is contextualised to their classroom. They can be used as a basis for the teacher's own program, assessment, or scope and sequence, or as an example of how the new curriculum could be implemented.
