Start Strong fee relief
- The Start Strong program aims to improve the affordability, quality, and accessibility of preschool education for children in the years before school.
- The program provides funding to eligible long day care services and community and mobile preschools to deliver affordable, quality preschool education to children aged 3 and above.
- The program also provides fee relief payments to families. Children enrolled in eligible services may be able to access fee relief funding which is passed on by the service as a reduction in fees.
Subsidies
The Australian Government’s Child Care Subsidy helps families with the cost of childcare. Parents and carers enrolling a child in services including long day care, occassional care and family day care services may be eligible to claim the Child Care Subsidy and Additional Child Care Subsidy.
