Depth Study 3 – the Asian World learning lesson series

A sequence of three Stage 4 history lessons, that explore the connections people have to places across a range of scales. The sequence explores how trade links people to many places.

Through this lesson sequence students explore contacts and conflicts within and/or with other societies, resulting in development such as expansion of trade, the rise of empires and the spread of philosophies and beliefs.

Students:

  • explain the consequences of these contacts with other societies- trade/goods and religious beliefs
  • outline significant contacts with other societies.

This resource has been mapped to the Literacy and Numeracy progressions.
