Restorative Practice

Restorative practice is a professional learning course available to all NSW public school staff. The course was developed in collaboration with leading experts in the field of restorative practices and principals and teachers from across NSW who have successfully embedded restorative practice to improve student outcomes. The course provides 3 hours of quality assured, free, on-demand eLearning designed to provide a foundational understanding of whole school teaching and learning approaches that encourage supportive and respectful behaviour.

Module 3 - Restorative pratice and neuroscience
Module 4 - Group discussions: circles
Module 5 - Dialogue strategies for building relationships
Module 6 - Restorative problem-solving conversations

An optional comprehensive Leader’s guide for collaborative professional learning is included to enable school leaders to use the eLearning modules to support a whole school approach to restorative practice. The guide provides clear, actionable steps to facilitate engaging sessions, ensuring that leaders can effectively leverage the eLearning platform to enhance collaboration and participation among staff.
