How do I access Adobe Creative Cloud?
Staff and Students can access Adobe Creative Cloud if they have been provided a licence. Click here to access a guide to help this process for Staff and Students.
The available licences will be free to valid staff and students. EDConnect is being utilised solely for the purpose of ensuring that only those that require access receive a licence.
The need for an Adobe Creative Cloud licence can change over time, and to ensure all students and staff can obtain a licence when they need one, the limited pool of licences needs to be effectively managed.
A key part in managing our licence pool is through regular analysis of licence usage. Licences which have had prolonged period of inactivity may be retrieved and put back into the licence pool.
All school-based staff will be able to apply for licences, regardless of their employment status. For casual staff that need the full Creative Cloud licence, we encourage you to use the school name and code from a school that you work at.
Yes. But we are asking all staff to consider if they require a Creative Cloud Licence. Guidance on how to make that decision can be found here.
Schools can use the online form to request a license in bulk for classes and scholastic years by inputting all email addresses of the staff and students who require a license, into the the request description. File attachments or URLs pointing to remotely-hosted lists are not supported and will not be processed.
Please ensure email addresses are captured correctly.
As the licence is requested we will prioritise deployment. It will be a fast turnaround. Reducing impact to student learning is our priority.
The Creative Cloud package is built in a way that includes all products within our agreement.
Your licence will work on any device that has the software.
Our current agreement does not allow for primary students to access these tools but Adobe Express has many of these tools available within in its simple interface.
Staff and students can access Adobe Express through a tile on their staff or student portal. Guides to help this process can be located here:
Many common functions such as viewing, printing, completing fillable areas of a document and signing with a digital certificate can be completed in Acrobat Reader.
For help in changing the default app for viewing PDFs on your computer, head to the Adobe Acrobat Reader page on the T4L website to view the prepared QRGs.
Education Support Staff will have the same licence options as school-based teaching staff. We are asking all Education Support Staff to speak to their line manager and consider if they require a Creative Cloud Licence for their role. Guidance on how to make that decision can be found here.
Adobe Express is covered under our enterprise agreement with Adobe and parental consent isn’t required.
Adobe Captivate is not a Creative Cloud program and licences for department staff are not included in the standard Adobe Creative Cloud enterprise agreement. If you have a requirement for Captivate, please log an EDConnect request. You will need to provide your department User ID and request a licence for Adobe Captivate to be added to your Creative Cloud licence.
