The new Agriculture Technology 7–10 Syllabus (2024) is to be implemented from 2027.

Units of work

A diverse range of programs developed for the Agriculture Technology 7–10 (2024) syllabus, providing full coverage for the Stage 5 course across all three focus areas. Topics and enterprises reflect the breadth of the syllabus and can be adapted to suit your school’s context, facilities and available resources, with programs ranging from 5 to 16 weeks in length.

In this 12-week program, students examine the management of sheep for wool and/or meat production within an extensive farming system. The unit includes practical experiences in animal handling and health monitoring while exploring sustainability and market considerations.
