What is Life Ready?
- Life Ready is a mandatory Stage 6 course (25-hours) designed to prepare and support students as they navigate health and safety situations, becoming more independent and taking on greater responsibilities.
- Schools can choose to implement Life Ready in a manner that accommodates their own context, using the resources they have available to them.
- The content of the school’s Life Ready course should be based on the needs and interests of students.
- Life Ready must be completed in either Year 11 or Year 12 or across both years.
Safe travel (road safety) is one of the six learning contexts and must be included as part of a school’s Life Ready course.
