Approaching the HSC oral examination

To support students with developing their understanding of the Japanese Continuers HSC oral examination, this package includes a video of a mock conversation, with discussion questions.

This resource supports students to:

• consider how the ‘examiner’ and ‘student’ approach a range of topics
• identify areas for improvement
• create their own responses to a variety of questions.

Text types in Continuers

Students are expected to be able to produce a range of written texts for the Continuers course. Texts for receptive use will not be prescribed. Students are encouraged to read, view and listen to a wide range of texts, including authentic texts.
