The Henry Parkes Equity Resource Centre is located in western Sydney. It provides access to a wide range of contemporary equity resources and conference facilities. The centre is available for department staff, teachers from community language schools, pre-service teachers at university and lecturers.

The equity resource library

The library’s collection has over 45,000 resources including multi-media classroom resources, teaching and learning resources, and professional development materials.

Conference facilities

The centre has a conference room and meeting room for professional learning activities.

The conference room accommodates up to 60 people in theatre style or 42 in cabaret style, and can be partitioned into 2 smaller rooms. The meeting room fits up to 10 people. Contact the centre to make a booking.

Opening hours

The opening hours of the centre are:
Monday to Wednesday: 8am-5pm
Thursday to Friday: 9am-3pm

Please note: the centre is closed the first week of term 1, 2 and 3 of the NSW public school holidays.
