Physical world – design and production investigation
This investigation complements and blends with any existing unit of work in the Physical World strand where teachers would like to embed a stronger design and production skill focus in their teaching of science and technology.
'How are forces used for a purpose?'
Students work in groups of 3 to demonstrate how light energy sources are used for shadow theatre design and how forces are used to create movement in shadow puppets for entertainment and storytelling.
Approximately 3-4 hours of learning.
