Stage 5 – 5 lesson learning sequence and assessment task focused on applying their strengths to create and use a personalised resume.

Consider the following questions when adapting or developing teaching and learning units.

  • Why does this learning matter?

The following sample resource can be adapted by teachers to suit the individual needs of their students. Use these resources to plan and deliver PDHPE. They are suitable for the PDHPE K-10 syllabus (2018).

Resource content

Students will:

  • reflect upon and highlight how their personal strengths are viewed as employability skills

  • have an understanding of the characteristics of a quality resume

  • clearly outline their skills and experience in their resume

  • have an understanding of the characteristics of a quality job interview

  • display confidence and preparation in a job interview roleplay.
