27 March 2025

Successful recipients of a NSW Premier’s Teacher Scholarship will receive $15,000 to complete a 5-week study tour within Australia or abroad to inspire positive outcomes for students, teacher colleagues and wider school communities in NSW.
There are 13 scholarship categories available across a range of educational focus areas, including STEM, commerce, history, vocational education and training, early childhood education, rural and remote education, Aboriginal education, wellbeing and inclusive/special education.
As a scholarship recipient, you will be able to develop a tailored itinerary to explore your field of teaching expertise and visit some of the most acclaimed schools and centres for teaching and training in Australia and around the world. At the conclusion of the tour, you will also have the opportunity to share your learnings with the broader school community and work towards implementing best practice teaching methods in the classroom.
If you are looking for inspiration on a research topic for your study tour, access the alumni and scholarship report archive to review the reports from previous recipients of a NSW Premier’s Teacher Scholarship and be inspired.
