About this report

The quality ratings report provides access to a selected preschool's current quality rating and assessment outcomes.

Data source: National Quality Agenda IT System (NQAITS)
Updated: Monthly

Who is this report designed for?

Principals and school leaders can use this report to explore the preschool’s current quality rating and view assessment and rating trend data.

Directors, Educational Leadership and Executive Directors, School Performance can view all public preschools within their network and school performance directorate respectively.

The Executive Director, Curriculum and Reform; Director, Curriculum Early Years and Primary Learners, and Early Learning team can view all preschools.

Benefits

This report will allow preschools to identify areas of strength and areas of need, assisting their focus on continuous improvement across the seven quality areas of the National Quality Standard (NQS).

Using the report

Use the slicers at the top of the report to select the results you want to be displayed.

De-select all options from each slicer to view all data available for your preschool, preschools in your principal network and/or school performance directorate.

If no selection is made, all historical data will be shown in both charts within this report.

The Preschool service ratings chart shows the current rating in each quality area. This chart is updated monthly.

The Indicator breakdown by preschool and year chart provides a summary of ratings for each quality area for a selected school, principal network, or school performance directorate.

In the example below, the indicator breakdown by preschool and year chart shows one school, revealing the preschool was assessed and rated in 2023 and previously in 2019.

View the charts
