Members of the SLI’s Principal team travelled to the state’s central west to take 28 principals and leaders from across the Cowra network through the benefits of engaging with the Principal Leadership Learning Resource.

The PLL Resource session focused on the pivotal role of principals as the lead learners in their schools and how the SLI resources can support their work in the ongoing strengthening of leadership across the network.

The session was delivered by the SLI’s Principal Abbey Proud and Chief Education Officer Stephanie Searle and hosted by Forbes North Public School.

Students from the school welcomed those present to Wiradjuri Country, and Forbes High School students kindly provided the catering for a great morning tea and lunch.

Cowra network Director, Educational Leadership David Lloyd thanked the SLI team for sharing their leadership knowledge and resources with local school leaders.

“The principal and middle leader teams were very positive and affirming of your session and keen to engage further with the PLL Resource back in their schools,” he said.

A principal who attended agreed the session presented by the SLI team would make a difference in their school.

“This looks fantastic, and we can't wait to put it in to action - very exciting!” they said of the PLL Resource.
