This program of learning addresses and introduces the focus area of Enterprise information systems: Analysing data. This focus area introduces students to the use of data analysis tools to make meaning that informs data driven decision making.

When analysing data there are many complex and wicked problems that require evidence and insight to solve. Students are provided opportunities to complete activities that build skills and understanding to create a project that analyses and visualises datasets to inform or persuade.

  • Sample program of learning shows the teaching and learning cycle over one semester with learning intentions and success criteria which can be contextualised to your school.
  • Teacher support resource includes a series of activities that align to the program of learning and can readily be converted to a student booklet with the extraction of the sample answers.
  • Sample assessment tasks give opportunity for formative and summative feedback and can be completed throughout the sample program of learning
  • Slide decks provide explicit lessons on the key concepts and foundational knowledge required for the successful delivery of this syllabus.
