This MyPL resource is on demand professional learning that was designed to build staff's knowledge of the new PDHPE K-10 syllabus and its features.
Audience: Early stage 1, Stage 1, 2 and 3 teachers and leaders
Duration: 7 hours
This course supports educators to:
- apply research to planning for PDHPE
- integrate syllabus features to plan for effective teaching and learning
- understand how the key features work together to implement the syllabus
- critique of existing teaching and learning programs and plans for new programs to meet NESA requirements and create meaningful learning opportunities.
This module has a prerequiste that you have previously completed the MyPL course, Unpacking the PDHPE K-10 syllabus propositions (primary).
Structure
This course supports teachers and leaders to:
- identify student needs and what students need to learn through PDHPE.
- understand and use the new features of the PDHPE K-10 syllabus.
- apply understanding of the features of the new syllabus to review and plan for teaching and learning programs.
