Cuban revolution

A scope and sequence, learning sequence and assessment where students will investigate the nation of Cuba in the post WWII period.

Students will investigate the downfall of President Fulgencio Batista and rise of the revolutionary movement led by Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. The unit also looks at the political and economic situations in Cuba during the period and their relationship with the United States and impact in Latin America.

Assessment

Student assessment task where students evaluate Fidel Castro’s legacy using contemporary articles and other historical evidence.
