Inland southern NSW - West Wyalong area
If you’re contemplating a career move to where you and your family can benefit from the best of both worlds, the West Wyalong area should be on your map.
A vibrant, progressive community, the West Wyalong area provides an authentic rural lifestyle that’s great for raising a family while city conveniences are well within reach.
The charming township of West Wyalong sits at the cross roads of the Newell and mid-western highways in the beautiful Riverina regionExternal link. The twin towns of Wyalong and West Wyalong retain an ambience of the bygone gold era, with many historic buildings, old-style shop facades and wrought iron verandahs.
West Wyalong and its surrounding towns feature outstanding parks, sporting and community facilities, excellent schools, and key medical and business facilities. Like many regional NSW communities, the area offers more affordable housing prices (compared to capital cities), great career opportunities, a healthy lifestyle and a strong sense of community.
Be well rewarded while you share your knowledge and experience as an educator in a community where new residents are embraced and valued. Working at a local school, you’ll not only enhance your career but you could also be eligible for a rental subsidy or a rural teacher incentive and more.
West Wyalong is a really pleasant area to live. It has a great community with a fun-loving and laid back approach. I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a rural lifestyle with the convenience of city living.
