Road

Narrandera is located 549km west of Sydney (5 and a half hours) at the junction of the Sturt and the Newell Highways, but it’s actually closer to Melbourne (428km, 5-hour drive). It’s almost exactly midway between the two major regional cities of Wagga Wagga (99km) and Griffith (98km).

Rail

NSW Trainlink operates regional train services between Griffith and Goulburn which stop in Narrandera. Trains connect in Griffith, with bus services to Wagga Wagga and in Goulburn, with intercity trains to Sydney.

Air

Regional Express has daily flights to Sydney and Griffith from Narrandera’s regional airport on the outskirts of town. You can fly further afield from neighbouring Wagga Wagga and Griffith airports, each about an hour away.
