Teachers eligible to apply for the fifth year Full-time pathway scholarship to commence in 2026 will have completed (or will be completing in 2025) an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited fourth year Honours or Honours equivalent undergraduate program, Advanced Graduate Diploma or equivalent, within the last 10 years, with a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 75.

Full-time pathway scholarship recipients receive:

  • equivalence of a full-time teaching salary

  • tuition fees paid

  • placement supervision

  • a Master of Professional Psychology (School Psychology) from Charles Sturt University upon successful completion of the course

  • a permanent school counselling position in a NSW public school in an area of workforce need.

Applicants will need to select a minimum of 5 locations from the following list:

  • Armidale
  • Bathurst
  • Bourke
  • Deniliquin
  • Moree
  • Orange
  • Queanbeyan
  • Wagga Wagga

No additional areas can be selected outside of this list.
