Students from the Lightning Ridge group of schools travelled to Sydney for a week at the NSW Fire and Rescue Academy. From hose and hydrant drills, search and rescue procedures, to learning core skills like teamwork and communication, the experience led to all 12 students returning home with a keen interest in the emergency services industry.
