Innovating careers education
A new approach to careers education that sees Careers Immersion Teams, each led by a Head Teacher Careers, create engaging learning opportunities and pathways for students.
The Innovating careers education initiative is intended to strengthen careers education across groups of schools. Initiative activities include:
- Careers events, including industry-specific information events
- Student-centred careers exploration experiences, including industry immersion activities
- Professional learning for school teams, including Careers and Transition Advisers
- Parent, community and industry engagement and information sessions
- Support for strategic planning with members of the school executive
