Information for students

SBATs are more than just part-time jobs. SBATs combine employment and vocational training as part of your HSC. They are a great way to set yourself up for your future career. As part of the Educational Pathways Program, SBAT Engagement Officers support students by:

  • Connecting their career interests with SBAT pathways

  • Assisting in sourcing an employer

  • Providing ongoing mentoring during the SBAT

For more information on SBATs and the range of industries they are available in, or to download useful SBAT resources, visit the department’s SBAT page.
