Outdoor Areas are included in a range of Outdoor Spaces. It is desirable to locate Outdoor Learning Spaces in close proximity to the General Learning Spaces.
The Covered Outdoor Space is largely an open-sided extension to the Communal Hall.
Tiered Outdoor Learning Space Room - Divisible is a multipurpose learning space equipped with desks and chairs for individuals to medium sized groups. A sink is provided and the space may be divided with an operable wall.
The Assembly Court is an outdoor multipurpose space for the whole school to gather. It is a flexible hard-surfaced area.
This flagpole is a pole used for the flying of flags.
The Games Court is an outdoor, hard-surfaced, multipurpose games area used for a mix of timetabled and recreational activities accommodating markings for a variety of overlapping sports courts.
Open Play Areas are active open air recreational spaces that may accommodate competition sized fields.
The Bulk Waste Pad is within the Services Zone. This zone supports the day to day functioning of the school. It includes supporting infrastructure such as car parks, bicycle racks, service roads, bulk waste pads, fire hydrants and LPG tank enclosures.
The Bicycle Parking/Enclosure is within the Services Zone. This zone supports the day to day functioning of the school. It includes supporting infrastructure such as car parks, bicycle racks, service roads, bulk waste pads, fire hydrants and LPG tank enclosures.
The Car Parking is within the Services Zone. This zone supports the day to day functioning of the school. It includes supporting infrastructure such as car parks, bicycle racks, service roads, bulk waste pads, fire hydrants and LPG tank enclosures.
The Kiss and Drop Zone is located near the street frontage of a school. This is a linear zone with points of high activity along its length, e.g. vehicle entry, major and minor pedestrian entry points.
