Secondary schools are designed specifically for children for children in the 12-18 year age group, providing education from Year 7 to Year 12. Secondary schools provide core facilities including a library, gymnasium and adminsitration hub, as well as a variety of general and specialist learning spaces for whole -class, group and individual activities. They also include facilities required for operation of support classes.
There are four sizes of secondary schools as detailed below.
Secondary school capacity is determined based on an average of 20 students per general learning space. Core facilities have been designed to suit the maximum capacity of each school size.
