Primary Schools are educational facilities designed specifically for children in the 5 – 12 year age group. The schools provide education from Kindergarten to Year 6 and facilitate a variety of learning settings for whole-class, group and individual activities.
Primary schools include core facilities such as classrooms, administration, library, hall, playgrounds and individual activities. They also include facilities required for operation of support classes.
There are three sizes of primary schools for both new and upgrade builds. Primary school sizes are determined by an average occupancy of students per general learning space with the number of core facilities designed to accommodate the maximum student capacity.
